Terms of Use
Effective October 20, 2026
TLD-API.com, its API at api.tld-api.com and the data they serve are run by IntelDive LLC in Tbilisi, Georgia. Using any of them means you accept these terms.
Free to use
You may use the site, the API and the data for personal or commercial purposes at no cost, within the limits below. There is no key to request and no account to make.
Credit
If you publish or ship something that uses the data, credit it as "Data from TLD-API.com" with a link to https://tld-api.com, somewhere the people using your work will see it: in the interface, the documentation or an about page.
What is not allowed
- Selling or sublicensing access to the API or its data as such, for example paid dumps, paid feeds, or reselling access to the API.
- Offering a product whose main purpose is to serve our data or reproduce our API, such as a mirror, a proxy or a clone that stands in for it.
- Using contact details from registration records for spam or unsolicited marketing, or using the data in any way that breaks the law.
- Attacking the service, getting around its limits, or sending it so much traffic that it harms other users.
Building something larger on top of the data is fine, including a paid product: security tooling, monitoring, research or brand protection, for example. The line is selling the data or the API itself.
Separate agreements
Anything these terms rule out, the credit requirement included, can be agreed otherwise in writing with IntelDive LLC. Where a written agreement and these terms differ, the written agreement applies.
The data
The data is compiled from domain registries (RDAP and WHOIS), DNS, and zone files from ICANN's Centralized Zone Data Service. It can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and it is provided as is. Data that comes from a registry remains subject to that registry's own terms. These terms grant you access to our service, not rights in anyone else's data.
The service
We may change, rate-limit, suspend or stop any part of the service at any time, without notice. There is no uptime guarantee. We may block access that breaks these terms.
No warranty
The service is provided without any warranty. To the extent the law allows, IntelDive LLC is not liable for any loss or damage arising from using it or from relying on its data.
Changes
When these terms change, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. The courts of Georgia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these terms or the service.
